ABOUT

Kate is an environmental photographer and filmmaker based in the United Kingdom whose work is focussed on social and environmental issues. She is currently working in behaviour led natural history filmmaking, and has worked to create wildlife films for Netflix, BBC, PBS, Love Nature and Arte.

Kate holds a BA in Geography from Oxford University where her research was recognised for its excellence by the Royal Geographical Society and an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking from UWE, Bristol.

Kate's debute film  'Growing Underground' won at Jackson Wild 2022 and has been shortlisted by BAFTA.

Kate is currently the Artist in Residence at the Institute of Digital Futures where she has been commissioned to produce a film tackling the topic:  ‘Against digital fatalism: Resisting technological hype’ to be exhibited in 2024. 

Kate's freelance photography has been previously recognised in the Sony World Photography Awards.
